DiscO makes it easy for students to find and redeem discounts, helping them to save money on their food expenses.

The Challenge

Many students are on a tight budget, and they are looking for ways to save money on food. However, it can be difficult to find and keep track of all the different discounts that are available.DiscO solves this problem by providing a centralized location for students to find and redeem discounts.

Solution

DiscO works by partnering with local restaurants and cafes to offer discounts to students. Students can browse through the app to find discounts that interest them, and then redeem them by simply showing their phone to the cashier. It also features a daily deals section, where students can find new discounts every day.

Results

One challenge in developing DiscO was finding ways to partner with local businesses. The team overcame this by highlighting the benefits of offering discounts to students. They also balanced the need to provide a lot of information about discounts with the need to make the app easy to use by designing a simple and intuitive user interface
